Though I am certainly not the worldliest of travelers, I have been around here and there. I still find chicago is one of my favorite cities in the world. I first moved to the chicago area after graduating from college, when Hewitt Associates offered me my first real world job. From there I've progressed through a series of other gigs in the Chicago tech scene (haven't quite fully figured what I'm going to do when I grown up!), including Spherion (formerly Interim Technology), spss, and BlueMeteor. i'm currently digging in at Allstate in the household relationship management department. On a more rosey front, I met my darling David here in Chicago, where he was a city-dwelling gad-about-town. We also got married here in a suburb just north of the city, Glenview. We're not sure yet if Chicago will forever be our hometown, but for now, it's a great place to be. |
